Spalted Maple Coat Rack | Red Hardware | 5-Hook Wall Mount

This coat rack starts with a board of spalted maple, which means the wood spent time partially decayed by fungus before it was cut and dried, leaving behind those dark, branching lines running through the grain. It's a natural process that can't be recreated on purpose, so every board looks different, and the markings on this one are its own.

We paired the spalted maple with five steel hooks in a bold red powder coat, mounted with exposed hardware for an industrial, utilitarian look that plays well against the organic grain of the maple. Handmade in our Lansdale, PA workshop, this rack works equally well in an entryway, mudroom, or laundry room.
