Bring a striking, one-of-a-kind piece into any entryway with this handmade coat rack, hand-carved from windfall redwood, a rare hardwood prized for its rich color variation, from deep amber heartwood to pale, straight-grained sapwood. No two pyramid faces are alike, so every coat rack we build is truly one-of-a-kind.
Each of the five faceted redwood pyramids is individually shaped and mounted on a solid walnut base board, chosen for its dark, elegant grain that frames the redwood's warm tones. Five hand-turned maple pegs, finished in a matte black, extend from the center of each pyramid sized and angled for coats, bags, scarves, and everyday entryway essentials.
Every pyramid facet, every peg, and every joint is shaped and finished by hand in our Lansdale, PA workshop in operation since 1980.
