The Pitchfork Chair has been a Bradford Woodworking signature for decades. Brad grew up on the same farm where his shop now stands in Worcester, PA, and the pitchfork tines that form the back spindles are a direct reference rooted in the tools he grew up using.

The seat and backrest are solid cherry, shaped and finished to get better with age, the same heirloom-quality hardwood used across our signature furniture line. The legs are Brad's signature ax handle design, lathe-turned from solid ash on a century-old ax handle lathe, giving each set of legs a distinctive turned texture you won't find on mass-produced seating. A steel hoop stretcher ties the legs together for stability and gives your feet a comfortable place to rest.

Available in three heights, this handmade wood chair works as a dining chair, counter stool, or bar stool, so it fits equally well at a farmhouse table, a kitchen island, or a home bar. Built from solid hardwood and forged steel, this is a chair made to last and hold its value in any room it ends up in.
