Painted Spindle Stool

Sometime ago I became a croquet enthusiast.
My enjoyment of the game sparked the idea to
create some croquet mallets and eventually
entire croquet sets. Since my inspiration in
furniture making has always been to use
exisiting materials in a new way, I naturally
saw the mallet’s handles as stool legs and
ran with the idea.

The Painted Spindle Stool has its origins in that concept. These new stools are constructed of white ash with a solid steel footrest. Each leg is painted with a different color.
